Nepal

Now then, I had high hopes of carrying on with the last posts theme of men in Cambodia but I've got distracted...... Am off to Nepal tomorrow and have just spent the day writing and sending out a newsletter. And now I'm all boggled-eyed and worded-out. So will just have to leave the men thing in suspenders and come back to it another time.

So Nepal...... save a bit of brain energy, here's some blurb I prepared earlier:

From 12th-17th May I’ll be in Nepal! A few months ago Love146 received funding and an invitation to facilitate a training day for the Good Touch Bad Touch Puppets Flipchart Project in Kathmandu. Since then the flipchart has been translated into Nepalese and 100s of copies have been made.

In a country where child abuse is common but still an unnoticed and neglected problem, my colleague, Sophorn and I are excited to be going and training NGO workers to use the flipchart and empowering children to keep safe and get help when they need to.




I fly tomorrow evening and need to find some proper shoes (I wear flipflops all the time now) and summat warm before then. Forgot it'll be a bit chilly near the Hima-better-get-some-layas on.

Hopefully there'll be time to take loads of photos and keep blogging. So until then, namaste :-)
