Glorious Journey

Yesterday morning, as I was leaving the Guesthouse in Kathmandu, this wonderful lady (and mother of the GH owner) suddenly stood up, smiled and wished me "a glorious journey". Which I thought was a lovely thing to say. Especially in a Nepalese accent with hands held prayer-like together and a slight wobble of the head.

And it did turn out to be a glorious journey. Starting with some great views to remember Nepal by...

...and ending with Sophorn and I both saying we felt more refreshed than when we left Phnom Penh. Which is quite amazing really. Cos it was quite a trip.

And I will get round to saying more about it.....

Just to finish this post though, here's my feet rejoicing in a new pair of green glittery sandals (bargain - $3) and enjoying being back among familiar things at the local market:

Feet, limes and garlic

Feet and chillies

Feet, cucumbers and chickens

Feet and fish
