Butterflies

Mixed emotions tonight. Lots been happening. And lots about to happen.

Off to Bangladesh Tues eve for round 2 of the Good Touch Bad Touch Puppets flipchart training after the one in Nepal last month. Back next Sunday. And then two weeks later, back to the UK for two and a bit months.

Been down at the ArtSpace a lot this week and last night was the last session for a while. Next week the space gets converted to a beauty salon by friends, as was always the plan, so tomorrow I need to shift my stuff. And come September, start somewhere new. Either a fixed space nearby or summat more mobile-y.

So this week. It's been fun. And a bit sad too. Have loved working with the kids, making butterfly wings and seeing them running up and down the mall, laughing and trying to fly. Great to see bursts of freedom and colour, lightening and brightening up the place.

Will still be going down there after the Bangladesh trip til I go away. To keep up the relationships. And probably do some craft workshops in the Message Parlour.

So the ArtSpace-as-was.... makes me think of a wild flower. Like in February's "Wild flowers" post. Something that's grown, bloomed and now withered. But has left behind life in the seeds of relationship. And of creativity too. So the prayer now is to keep tending them. And to trust their growth with others in the months to come.
