Meltdown

This is just going to be a hit the keys and see what happens post. Cos it's just too hot to think right now.

It's been an OK week-end. Overdid it cycling 7 kilometres or so to a Listening Prayer seminar yesterday morning and nearly careering into a massive hole when I was nearly there.

An almost Charlie Chaplin moment but a not-funny one at the same time. Could have done some serious damage to bike and person. Just thankful for decent brakes and the sudden instinct to swerve.

Arrived at said seminar leaking swear words and sweat. And proceeded in a similar sereneless flow through most of the morning.

Thankfully a few of my friends there were in similar stages of meltdown. So it was good just to be with them, safe in solidarity and in the grin of God's grace.
