Centenary

This is my 100th post!! Hoorah!! Feeling chuffed. Tis the furthest I've ever travelled in Blogland so am celebrating in true centenary style with a pineapple and mango smoothie and some noodles. Living it up in the Penh, as ever.

Also feeling good after a day of painting in the Space and some encouraging moments with friends.



Am getting ready to do some painting down in the red light area soon. Have been offered a temporary Space in a kind-of mall down there, next to some of the bars. Have friends working in an ice cream cafe/drop-in/safe space there called The Message Parlour (see www.themessageparlour.org) and it's a few units up from them. So I'll not be far from company, coffee and some fine lemon and lime sorbet. All good.

There's quite a few kids down there who are either on the streets or their Mums are working. So the idea is to have a creative space for them to paint/draw/make stuff or just come and be for a while if that's what they need. And for me, during the quieter moments, to be let loose with brushes and paint and have a go at muralling again. Looking forward to it (in a couple of weeks or so) lots :-)
