Happy feet
Well, I'm back on Cambodian soil and happy are the feet now walking on it. Happy not to be hobbling (after a could-have-been-worse break/chipped bone on the Yorkshire Moors a few weeks ago). And happy to have walked the main street of Siem Reap and splashed in the mud-puddles most of the way.
Have arrived near the end of the rainy season. And today it's been typically muggy with bursts of sun and splurges of rain. This week I'm staying in a cheap and cheery guesthouse in the second largest town/city in Cambodia. Thought I'd try out a different route back and land somewhere less hassley than Phnom Penh. Am also visiting a friend from the Isle of Wight who runs a project here. And hopefully seeing one or two others I've had contact with through the Good Touch Bad Touch flipchart project.
But before all that, sleep's the main thing. Managed to stay up all day Friday and then last night konked out at 11pm to awake at 11am today. So missed a free breakfast. Hey ho. Sleepy again now but setting the alarm in time for a good feed as well as, hopefully, another good kip.
